Psalm 25:20: Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You.
Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms
Years ago, a deacon got up and gave a testimony about a verse of Scripture that was meaningful to him. He said the verse was, “It came to pass.” Everyone looked puzzled, so the preacher said to him, “How is it that that particular verse means so much to you?” “Well,” the deacon said, “when I am in trouble, I always get my Bible and read, ‘It came to pass,’ and I thank God that my troubles came to pass, and they did not come to stay.” 1
Living the Transformed Life
I am the Lord your God and there is no other. Joel 2:27
- When our troubles are great, Our God will prove that He is even greater, as we keep trusting in Him.
- When our troubles painfully continue, Our God will sympathize with our sorrow and sadness, as we keep trusting in Him.
- When our troubles are the result of another person’ds sin, Our God’s grace will override the unrelenting heartache, as we keep trusting in Him.
All the troubles of the past will eventually become a thing of the past. – TWEET IT
