Psalm 31:24: Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

David praised the Lord (How great is Your goodness) for His protection of the faithful in general, and for delivering him by His love in spite of David’s unbelief. On the basis of what he had learned about the Lord’s deliverance of the faithful, he encouraged the saints to be strong in their faith and hope in the Lord. 1

Living the Transformed Life

Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Isaiah 35:3

  • Weakness is when you trust in yourself, instead of trusting in Him.
  • Weakness is when you think you’re strong enough to handle life in the power of your own strength, and to live in the glory of your own accomplishments.
  • Weakness is when you isolate yourself from the Body of Christ and try to go solo in the Christian life, void of continual and faithful Christian fellowship.

If you want to live courageously, you must be courageous enough to ask for His help. – TWEET IT

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for giving me all the strength and hope I need to live one day at a time. Dear Jesus, please teach me to trust in Your complete sufficiency.
