Proverbs 4:10-11: Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, and the years of your life will be many. I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths.

Insight

Let us see the need for guidance for every step, both steps to take and steps to avoid. The way of wisdom will definitely lead to a happy life because it is lived in God’s presence. This will happen if godly discipline has been exercised, if the Bible has been laid down as the rule of life, if habits of prayer, love for serving God, and fellowship with his people have been encouraged. The path, though sometimes rough and lonely, is a straight path and a path of freedom. 1

Application

Do not hesitate today to respond with obedience to what the Lord has been telling you to do. He has made it clear. He is leading you down the right path. Do not let your fears keep you from stepping forward in faith. Trust Him completely. He will not let you down and He will not lead you astray. He loves you. Walk in the light that He has prepared for you. You will never regret making the right choice for His glory, and for your spiritual prosperity.

Motivation

Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. Revelation 3:11

The straight path is not the popular path, but it is the only path to a fulfilled life. – TWEET IT

Prayer

Father, thank You for making a way for me, from the darkness, into Your marvelous light.
