Proverbs 10:30: The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not inhabit the earth.

Insight

Let’s look at history with that in view. All of the great world leaders, the kings and the captains, have disappeared. The pharaohs, the Caesars, Alexander the Great, Napoleon—they are all gone. “The wicked shall not inhabit the earth.” Neither will communism prevail and, interestingly enough, neither will democracy, because God has a form of government that is to be a monarchy. There will be no dictatorship equal to the dictatorship of Jesus Christ when He takes over the rulership of this earth. And “the righteous shall never be removed.” 1

Application

There is a big gap between the righteous and the wicked. If you do not seal a little crack, it will soon become a big gap, possibly beyond repair. Be attentive to the little things and you will experience righteous living.

Motivation

Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. Matthew 21:43

Be known, not for your strength, but for His strength in you. – TWEET IT

Prayer

Father, thank You for teaching me about Your steadfastness.
