Proverbs 25:13: Like the cold of snow in time of harvest is a faithful messenger to those who send him, for he refreshes the soul of his masters.

Insight

We all like to have around us faithful people. A man wants a faithful wife. He appreciates faithful children. An employer wants faithful employees. A pastor wants a faithful staff and a faithful congregation. And the people want a faithful pastor. Faithfulness is a wonderful quality. It is like a good, cold drink on a very hot day to have someone with us who is faithful. 1

Application

You can be a faithful messenger of the Lord today, if you choose to refresh the soul of another believer. Will you pray about being a messenger sent from God to bless another in the name of Jesus?

Motivation

His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ Matthew 25:21

Being a faithful servant is having the faith to serve the Lord faithfully. – TWEET IT

Prayer

Father, make me a servant who fully depends upon Your faithfulness.
