A PROMISE
Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass,
you who are spiritual restore such a one
in a spirit of gentleness,
considering yourself
lest you also be tempted.
Bear one another’s burdens,
and so fulfill the law of Christ.

A Prayer
Heavenly Father…
Thank You for being my sin-bearer and my burden bearer.
My life was overtaken by my sinful trespasses.
But You stepped into my world.
You bore my guilt, shame, and sin upon Yourself.
You restored me with a spirit of gentleness.
There was no anger or wrath.
Only Your lovingkindness…
being poured out upon my darken soul.
I am learning so much by the way You loved me.
Teach me to restore others like you have restored me.
May I fulfill the call of Christ to love others.
