A PROMISE
Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?

For the help of His countenance.

A Prayer
Heavenly Father…
Thank You for being the lifter
Of my head and of my heart.
You know when my discouragement comes.
You know when I have no words to speak.
You are acquainted with all my ways.
You even allow me to experience hopelessness
So that I can discover
That You are all the hope that I need.
My hope is now placed in You alone.
You have lifted me up.
Your joy has become my joy
I am praising You and thanking You.
