A Prayer
Heavenly Father…
Thank You for Your leadership in my life.
You know what I need.
You know when I need it.
You make me lie down.
Please forgive my restless soul.
I have forsaken my quiet time with You.
I have been doing good things…
…but not the best things.
You have allowed life situations…
…to cause me to stop…
…to cause me to listen…
You have revealed Your beauty in Your creation.
The green grass, the quiet waters.
All the evidence I need…
…to surrender once again completely to You.
As a child said long ago…
“Speak Lord, your servant hears.”
