Stand therefore,
having girded your waist with truth,
having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
and having shod your feet
with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Ephesians 6:14–15
A Prayer
Heavenly Father…
Thank You for the command to stand.
There is no time to sit during a battle.
You called us into action.
You said: Stand and keep standing!
You said: Fight and keep fighting!
It is time to get geared up with the truth.
Get into the Word and get the Word into you.
Wear the breastplate that He has provided.
His righteousness has been given to you.
Wear it and stand strong in His mighty grace.
Live like you have been declared righteous by your King.
Take action and declare His gospel truth.
May He lead Your feet to divine appointments.
May He anoint your speech to proclaim the gospel truth.
