Psalm 75:2: When I choose the proper time, I will judge uprightly.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

The Lord comes it will be at a set time. When our Lord walked on earth, He took the place of self–humiliation. He said, “But of the day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matt. 24:36). The Lord is coming at that appointed time. You cannot rush Him. He will come at the predetermined time. No man knows the date or the hour, although there are a few prophetic teachers across the country today who seem to have a private wire to heaven and seem to know when the Lord is going to return. But I don’t—and, of course, they don’t either. The important thing to note is that there is a set time when the Lord Jesus is going to return. 1

Living the Transformed Life

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” Acts 17:30–31

  • Are you living each day with the anticipation of His certain return?
  • Are you storing up more treasures in heaven, or more treasures on earth?
  • Are you allowing the circumstances of your life to dictate your decisions, or are you allowing His Word and His Spirit to dominate your heart, mind, emotions, and choices?

Ready or not, He is coming. Are you ready…or not?

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father for declaring in advance that Your return is 100% certain. Dear Jesus, please teach me to live each day as though it was my last day on earth.
