Psalm 50:15: Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.”

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

If he was in distress and called on God, the Lord would answer. Then he would praise the Lord as a spontaneous expression of his enjoyment of God’s benefits. 1

Living the Transformed Life

Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, and prayed to Him; and He received his humble request, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God. 2 Chronicles 33:12–13

  • Will you call upon Him today to deliver you from plaguing anxieties?
  • Will you call upon Him today to deliver you from the bondage that fear produces?
  • Will you call upon Him today to deliver you from the lack of joy in your life?

It is through great difficulties, that we experience greater deliverance, that gives Him the greatest glory.

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for inviting me to call upon You, at any hour, of any day. Dear Jesus, I now humble myself before You. Please deliver me, that I may glorify You.
