Psalm 119:73: Your hands have made me and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn Your commandments.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

God made us. He knows exactly what we need. One of our basic needs is His Word, and that is what the psalmist is talking about here. I know for sure that you need to take yourself to the Lord and to His Word. He made you, and He knows what is good for you. 1

Living the Transformed Life

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. 1 John 5:20

  • Know Him, Love Him, Serve Him …Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100:3
  • Know Him, Love Him, Serve Him …I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. Psalm 139:14
  • Know Him, Love Him, Serve Him …The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever. Psalm 111:10

Knowing Him will keep you from surrendering to them.

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for providing the written revelation of Yourself. Dear Jesus, please make me into a servant that lives to give You glory.
