Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms
God forgives us for Christ’s sake, never for our sake. You and I do not merit forgiveness. We know that God forgave David; and, if we trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, He will forgive us, too. An old blasphemer came to me one time with a sneer on his face, and asked “Why did God choose a man like David, who was such a big sinner?” I said to him, “You and I ought to take a great comfort in that. If God would save David, there just might be a chance that He would save you and me.” 1
Living the Transformed Life
For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jeremiah 31:34
- The saving grace of God, invites us to be cleansed from all my sins. (Read 1 John 1:5-9)
- The saving grace of God, invites us to receive His Spirit of adoption. (Read Romans 8:12-17)
- The saving grace of God, invites us to partake of an adventurous future with God. (Read Ephesians 2:8-10)
His grace will accomplish what our goodness could never achieve.
Praise and Prayer
Thank You, Father, for Your grace, upon grace, upon grace, upon grace… Dear Jesus, please teach me to resist flexing my determination instead of allowing Your grace to dominate every aspect of my life.
