1 Corinthians 9:21: To those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;
In other words, Paul was not under the Jewish law, but he was under the moral law. He disregarded the Jewish law so as to win those not having the law—that is, the Gentiles. When he was in Jerusalem, he conformed to the Jewish law; when in Antioch, he refused to do so and rebuked Peter for acting as a Jew among the Gentiles. 1
