Jesus is Essential
Luke 17:31–37: “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife. Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” And they answered and said to Him, “Where, Lord?” So He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”
Evidently the Lord’s warning not to return to the city or to one’s home when judgment comes led the disciples to imagine that the judgment might be focused on a particular place. So they asked, “Where, Lord?” And the Lord replied enigmatically, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.” Judgment will fall on all humanity. Where there are spiritually dead, there will be judgment. 1
Walking with Jesus

Many people are returning to the world instead of to God. Do you live life as a “First Responder” to the spiritually dead? Is there an urgency to your Christianity?
Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Luke 24:25
It is better to be convicted and forgiven of sin today, because tomorrow may never come.
Praying
Lord, thank You for taking my judgement upon Yourself so I could go to heaven.
