FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God
Romans 4:16–17: Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;
FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God
The fact that Abraham was justified by grace and not Law proves that salvation is for all men. Abraham is the father of all believers, both Jews and Gentiles. Instead of the Jew complaining because Abraham was not saved by Law, he ought to rejoice that God’s salvation is available to all men, and that Abraham has a spiritual family (all true believers) as well as a physical family (the nation of Israel). Paul saw this as a fulfillment of Genesis 17:5: “I have made thee a father of many nations.” 1

Known to God from eternity are all His works. Acts 15:18
Jesus, thank You for providing Your endless grace. Thank You for providing my complete justification without ever filing one charge of condemnation. Thank You for supplying all the faith I needed to trust You for my salvation for all eternity. Thank You for taking this dead man, and making him alive again with faith, hope, and love.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God
Look to Abraham your father, And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, And blessed him and increased him.” Isaiah 51:2
Dear Father, my eyes are upon You. You are all I need…in Jesus’ name. Amen.
