FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 3:11–12: There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Mankind is like a group of travelers who have gone in the opposite direction from the right one, and not one can help the others. Our Lord said to the religious leaders of His day, “You are blind leaders of the blind.” That is what the Judge of all the earth says about you and about me and about everyone on the face of the earth. Now Paul transfers us over to God’s clinic into the hands of the Great Physician. This is a spiritual clinic, and the Great Physician says that we are spiritually sick. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. Acts 17:30

Jesus, please forgive me for my unacceptable excuses. My problem is me. My heart is filled with other stuff, instead of the sanctifying work of Your Holy Spirit. I repent now. I choose to turn away from the unprofitable distractions and turn towards Your grace, mercy, and truth. Make me fruitful and profitable in every season of life.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. John 15:4

Dear Father, hide me under the abiding wings of Your love…in Jesus Name. Amen.
