FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 2:21: You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal?

Many of the Jewish teachers and leaders were guilty of these offenses—and it was common knowledge. Everyone knew of cases where the most orthodox had left loopholes in their business dealings for a little “refined stealing.” 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:8

Jesus, please make me more aware of living life in Your presence. There are no short cuts. What I believe, and what I say, and what I do must all match up. May I have a pure heart, so I can see You and do the right thing.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 1 Corinthians 13:12
