FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 1:26: For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

Also God gave them over to shameful lusts (lit., “passions of disgrace”). This involved, as the text states, both sexes engaging in homosexual instead of heterosexual relationships. Women deliberately exchanged natural relations (with men in marriage) for unnatural ones (with other women). 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. Ephesians 5:12

Jesus, thank You for Your incredible patience with all the prolific lawlessness going on throughout the world. You said the final days would resemble the days of Noah before the flood. May I be unrelenting in preaching and teaching Your word in these biblical last days. Make me uncomfortable to live a nominal life. Make me courageous to live a life sold out for the cause of Christ. May I never be persuaded by believing the political correctness of the culture. May biblical truth always be my guiding light.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

To believe a lie is to believe there is no accountability before God. – TWEET IT

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts. Ephesians 4:22

Dear Father, please help me to put off the old life and to put on the new life. Please teach me how to be set free from sin and live a resurrected life…in Jesus’ name. Amen.
