Proverbs 1:33: But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, and will be secure, without fear of evil.

Insight

God has provided a way to avoid disaster. Those who listen to His Wisdom—that is, those who obey Wisdom—will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm. To be at ease implies a comfortable and relaxing rest, quite the opposite of the disaster that awaits the foolish. Without fear of harm (literally, “from calamity of fear”) could also be rendered “from fearful calamity.” The calamity that will overtake the foolish will not come to those who obey Wisdom. 1

In just a matter of minutes you too can become confident, with just the solution you need. Now consider God. He is the Original Designer. He made it all and knows exactly how to fix all the broken pieces. He actually wrote the first repair manual ever published worldwide. Will you take time and spend time each day to hear from Him? He wants to put your life back together. He wants you to be secure in His love. He wants you to have victory over fear. Thank Him now for saving you from calamity and giving you His peace in your heart.
