John 11:23–27: Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”
When you are sick, you want a doctor and not a medical book or a formula. When you are being sued, you want a lawyer and not a law book. Likewise, when you face your last enemy, death, you want the Saviour and not a doctrine written in a book. In Jesus Christ, every doctrine is made personal. When you belong to Him, you have all that you ever will need in life, death, time, or eternity! 1
Your Word is Truth
What is the difference between “having faith” and having “saving faith”? What kind of faith did Martha have? What kind of faith do you have? How can someone prove that they do have “saving faith”?
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption. –1 Corinthians 1:30

Your Will be Done
Lord, thank You for being my resurrection and life.
