Luke 15:11–14: Then He said: “A certain man had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.’ So he divided to them his livelihood. And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want.

“If I could only get away off yonder on my own, it would be wonderful.” He didn’t like it at home; he fell out with his father and lost fellowship with him. And so the father gave to him his living, and the boy left with his pockets full of money—which he did not earn with work that he’d done himself. Every bit that came to him, his father had given to him. He didn’t get it by his ability, he didn’t get it because he was clever, and he didn’t get it because he had worked hard. The money he had in his pocket was there because he had a very generous father. 1

Your Word is Truth

Sometimes you have to release the determined in heart to go their way, but always praying that they find His way, as their way. (Read Philippians 4:6-7 to help encourage your commitment to pray.)
