Matthew 12:43–45: When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.
If everyone in the world would quit sinning right now, there wouldn’t be any more Christians in the next minute or in the next day, because quitting sin doesn’t make Christians. Reformation is not what we need. This same situation is with us today. The hardest people in the world are unsaved church members because they think they are all right. They have undergone self–reformation—empty, swept, and garnished. They are like a vacant house, and all the evil spirits have to do is move in. The Devil owns them, and they don’t recognize this fact. Reformation means death and destruction. Regeneration means life and liberty. 1
Your Word is Truth
Your body is a vessel that will be filled with either light or darkness. To be born again is to be filled with the light of the Spirit. To be unsaved is to be a dwelling place for the demonic world and darkness. Will you pray each day for your unsaved family and friends to be saved?
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. –1 Peter 5:8
You Alone are God
Do not be fooled, reformation is not salvation. – TWEET IT
Your Will be Done
Lord, thank You for saving me and then dwelling in me though Your Holy Spirit.
