may give to you the spirit of wisdom
and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened;
that you may know what is the hope of His calling,
what are the riches of the glory
of His inheritance in the saints.

Heavenly Father…
You are the Father of glory and of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You for inviting me to pray to You.
I am asking You for a spirit of wisdom…
to minister to those in need.
I am asking You knowledge…
to know and proclaim the truth of Your Holy Word.
I am asking You for understanding…
to be enlightened through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
I am asking You for hope…
to walk in the grace of Your calling upon my life.
