A PROMISE
And do this, knowing the time,
that now it is high time to awake out of sleep;
for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
The night is far spent, the day is at hand.
Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness,
and let us put on the armor of light.

A Prayer
Heavenly Father…
Thank You for the strong exhortation today.
You are calling Your church to be alert and stand strong.
We hear Your voice and respond with obedience.
Forgive our spiritual slumbering.
Forgive our lack of discipline.
Thank You for the urgent reminder.
We have been delivered from sin and death.
We were saved to serve.
We must redeem the time.
Thank You for sanctifying us by Your truth.
By Your grace, we will forsake the darkness of this world…
…and walk in the light, glorifying You with a renewed heart of love.
