A PROMISE
Bless those who persecute you;
Bless and do not curse.
Rejoice with those who rejoice,
and weep with those who weep.
Be of the same mind toward one another.
Do not set your mind on high things,
but associate with the humble.
Do not be wise in your own opinion.

A Prayer
Heavenly Father…
Thank You for Your heavenly guidance in my life.
Teach me to retaliate with prayer and not vengeance.
Teach me to identify with those who are suffering.
Teach me to be like-minded and not critical of others.
Teach me not to be arrogant and lofty minded.
Teach me to reach out to those needing encouragement.
Teach me that You alone are wise.
Teach me to yield to You…
and to be completely dependent upon You…
for everything.
