FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 10:12–13: For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

This universal offer is grounded in two Old Testament quotations: “the one who trusts will never be dismayed” (Isaiah 28:16), and “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Joel 2:32). This is the way God has always operated. We must say with all gentleness and firmness, each man and woman is responsible for his or her destiny. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28

He is like no other. Pure in love. Abundant in mercy. Willing to save all. His decisions are never based upon our pedigree, social status, political position, appearance, personality, or persuasive charisma. There is a unity found at the foot of the Cross. Everything melts away before the Lamb of God. His blood saves us. He bought us and brought us into a new family. A family absent of prejudice. A family abundant in peace, personal holiness, and unity of the Holy Spirit. How I long for my future home.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

He looks beyond the skin and into the soul of every individual person…to forgive, to cleanse, to redeem, and to restore for all eternity.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. Psalm 86:5

Dear Father, in the shadow of grace, I found Your mercy and forgiveness. Thank You for hearing my desperate prayers…in Jesus Name. Amen.
