FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 10:11: For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

Paul is quoting Isaiah to enforce his previous statement that the “by faith righteousness” is taught in other passages in the Old Testament. This passage also shows the universal character of salvation in the word whosoever. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.” 1 Peter 2:6

Is Jesus your Chief Cornerstone? Is He the foundation for all that you do? Is your life built around Him, or are you wanting Him to build His life around you? Are your dreams and goals fulfilled in pleasing Him, or in fulfilling your ambitions? Do live shamelessly for Him? When was the last time you confessed your faith in Him?

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

I was just an unknown whosoever that became a welcomed guest in the presence of the Eternal King, who invited me to dine with Him.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. Jeremiah 17:7

Dear Father, thank You for all the hope You have given to me, so I can live for You.
