FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 9:3–5: For I could wish that I myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my countrymen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom pertain the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God, and the promises; of whom are the fathers and from whom, according to the flesh, Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

It is remarkable how Paul moved from the joy of Romans 8 into the sorrow and burden of Romans 9. When he looked at Christ, he rejoiced; but when he looked at the lost people of Israel, he wept. He was willing to be cursed and separated from Christ if it would mean the salvation of Israel. He was willing to stay out of heaven for the sake of the saved, and willing to go to hell for the sake of the lost. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:13

A surrendered life under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, is a life that is willing to sacrifice to the point of death for another. Only Jesus can save. But are we willing to lay our life and our agenda down if it could mean the salvation of another? The greater our love for another is always in direct proportion to our supreme love for God.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

In this day of selfie glorification, a surrendered life in Christ is the most beautiful portrait of all.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

…I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Jeremiah 31:33

Dear Father, my heart rejoices, because You are my God, and I am all Yours, forever.
