FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 8:11: But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

What a difference it makes in your body when the Holy Spirit lives within. You experience new life, and even your physical faculties take on a new dimension of experience. When evangelist D.L. Moody described his conversion experience, he said: “I was in a new world. The next morning the sun shone brighter and the birds sang sweeter … and all nature was at peace.” Life in Christ is abundant life. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20–21

The Holy Spirit, who raised Jesus from the dead, is the same Holy Spirit that dwells in you. So you now can allow Jesus to live His life in you and through you. His great power and His great love are resident in every believer. He is the One who will give you all you need, to do all He may ask, to the glory of God.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

The One who did the saving is the One who will do the serving, in you and through you.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:17

Dear Father, thank You for Your abiding presence in me…in Jesus Name. Amen.
