FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

The Devil is the paymaster, and he will see to it that you get paid. If you work for him, the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life. And you will receive that gift by faith. You are saved by faith. You are to live by faith. You are to walk moment by moment by faith. You cannot live for God by yourself any more than you can save yourself. It requires dependence upon Him, looking to the Lord Jesus Christ. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:11–12

The gift is free, but it cost Jesus everything. All it takes is faith in Him. He is ready to forgive. He is ready to call you His child. He is ready to adopt you. He is ready to give you eternal life. He is ready to fill you with His Holy Spirit. He is ready to make His word come alive. He is ready to give you all the riches in Christ Jesus, because you are now a part of His family. He is also giving you a choice and so is the devil. The devil offers death and eternal torment after a few worldly pleasures. Christ offers eternal joy forevermore after a few worldly sacrifices. The choice is yours!

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

Payday comes someday, and someday could be this day.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. John 6:32

Dear Father, You are my Bread of Life, now and forever…in Jesus Name. Amen.
