FAITH: Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 1:14: I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to wise and to unwise.

FAITH: Comes by Studying the Word of God

One day I was driving with a preacher friend of mine in the interior of Turkey. As we were driving along, we came to a little town in which all of the signs were in Turkish, and we felt very much like strangers in a strange land. Then way down at the end of the street we saw a big sign which read: “Coca–Cola.” I said to my friend, “Is it not interesting that Coca–Cola in just a few years has done a better job of advertising and getting out its message than has been done with the gospel in over nineteen hundred years?” We have not paid our debt, friend, until all have heard the good news, and multitudes have not yet heard. That’s why Paul wanted to go Rome. 1

FAITH: Comes by Obeying the Word of God

But the Lord said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children of Israel. Acts 9:15

Jesus, thank You for choosing me. Thank You for changing me into a vessel of honor for Your glorious purposes. Thank You for the blessed privilege of bearing Your name to the world. Thank Your for all the different people in my life that I get to meet and get to share Your wondrous gospel message. Thank you for giving a clear command to bring the gospel to the world, and for Your daily grace for that daily mission.

FAITH: Comes by Experiencing the Transforming Work of God

The mission work on earth, is for all the people of earth, to hear the gospel.

FAITH: Comes by Praying with the Word of God

A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray. Isaiah 35:8

Dear Father, thank You for taking me, a wayward fool of the world, and placing me on Your highway. Teach me how to live a holy life for You…in Jesus name. Amen.
