Psalm 116:1–2: I love the Lord, because He has heard My voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

Have you ever told Him that you love Him? I feel that the most important thing in the Christian life. Do you love the Lord Jesus? Do you have a personal relationship with Him? Is there any communication with Him? Have you talked to Him today? Is He vital and real to you? Can you say: “I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice?” 1

Living the Transformed Life

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24

  • I am forever His…because He has loved me with a love for all eternity!

Jeremiah 31:3 – The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”

  • I am forever His…because He hears all my spoken and unspoken prayers, and answers everyone in His most loving way!

Isaiah 59:1 – Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear.

  • I am forever His…because He is forever mine.

1 John 4:9 – In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

To be forever His is to love Him above all other competing loves!

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for loving me today, tomorrow, and forever. Dear Jesus, teach me to live with the knowledge of Your abiding presence.
