Psalm 109:30–31: I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude. For He shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those who condemn him.
Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms
David’s prayer for help was based on his desire that the wicked would understand that the Lord would vindicate him, and that he might rejoice when they were put to shame and disgrace. David vowed he would testify of (extol) the Lord for delivering him (the needy one) from the oppressor. 1
Living the Transformed Life
I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Psalm 16:8
- When I look to Him…I will praise Him because my hope has been renewed.
- When I look to Him…I will praise Him because my victory in Him is greater than any earthly defeat.
- When I look to Him…I will praise Him because He will deal with my enemies and deliver me from all my troubling opposition.
Praising Him is the first step towards experiencing His vindicating deliverance.
Praise and Prayer
Thank You, Father, for teaching me that You have everything in life under Your sovereign control. Dear Jesus, please forgive me for not resting in your lordship over every situation. Please strengthen me in faith today.
