Psalm 53:6: Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of His people, Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

How can anyone say that God is through with the nation of Israel after reading this verse? To deny that God has a future purpose for Israel is to deny the inerrancy and inspiration of Scripture. Yet men who say they are believers attempt to spiritualize this. A great company of Amillennialists have spiritualized the Book of Revelation instead of interpreting it literally. Amillennial is the rejection of the belief that Jesus will have a literal, thousand-year-long, physical reign on the earth. In my judgment, to spiritualize Scripture is practically to deny its inspiration. Now, my friend, God is not through with the nation of Israel. I think that even a child could understand what is being said here—that “Zion” means Zion, “Jacob” means Jacob, “Israel” means Israel, and “God” means God. This verse means exactly what it says. And God will answer this prayer. He will again deal with Israel as a nation. 1

Living the Transformed Life

Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!” Isaiah 12:6

  • The One who was born and died in Israel, is the One returning to Israel.
  • Rejecting God’s plan for Israel is the seedbed for antisemitism. (Revelation 7:1-10)
  • Read Romans 9,10,11. It reveals that God will never forsake Israel.

Every covenant made by God is a covenant kept by God.

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for having everything under your control. Dear Jesus, please awaken Your Church to Your biblical plans for Israel.
