Changed by His Love
1 John 4:15: Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
This is where you begin with Him—don’t tell me that the virgin birth is not important. This is the gospel: “… how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (1 Cor. 15:3–4). My friend, if He is not who He said He was, His death and resurrection are absolutely meaningless; in fact, He was not raised from the dead if He is not who He said He was.
But the evidence is all on the side that He did arise from the dead, and the proof of it is that He was virgin born; He was who He claimed to be.Therefore, He can say to you today that because of who He is, if you will hear His voice and if you will believe on Him, you will be saved. 1
Loving Him
Will you be willing to make your confession of faith in Jesus Christ a new priority in your life? Who will you be willing to share your testimony with this week? Will you pray for a specific person, and ask God for a divine opportunity?
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
Loving Others
Faith is believing in the saving work, and the certain promises of Christ.
Make Me Like You
Lord, thank You for giving me the grace and faith to believe in You, and a passionate heart to confess to others about Your free gift of eternal life.
