Changed by His Love

1 John 1:10: If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Now don’t make God a liar. Why don’t you go to the Lord, my friend, and just open your heart and talk to him as you talk to no one else. Tell Him your problems. Tell Him your sins. Tell Him your weakness.

Confess it all to Him. And say to your Father that you want to have fellowship with Him and you want to serve Him. My, He has made a marvelous, wonderful way back to Himself! 1

Loving Him

When we deny that we have sinned against God, we also deny the opportunity of receiving His powerful grace. Without His grace, we will sink deeper into sin. I do not think I have ever heard someone call God a liar.

But when we reject His truth about us, we are saying: God is wrong and I am right. To live a self righteous life is exactly what you do not want to do. Repent, ask God forgiveness, live a life filled with humility, and with the knowledge of His righteousness, and not your own.

Loving Others

Since God can not lie, it is best for us to embrace His truth about our sinful condition.

Make Me Like You

Lord, forgive me for hiding in my sin, instead of humbling myself in Your grace.
