Revelation 3:9: Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

Christ referred to their enemies as the synagogue of Satan. They were Jews who opposed the believers’ Christian testimony. False religion has always been a formidable antagonist against true Christian faith. The day will come, however, when all opponents of the faith will have to acknowledge the truth. Christ declared, I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. 1
Jesus and His Ways
- Jesus, may I surrender my heart before You this morning. Thank You for redeeming me from the bondage of sin. – “I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath.” Isaiah 45:23
- Jesus, may I surrender my lips before You this morning. Thank You for purifying my heart, so I can worship You without hypocrisy. – “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:11
- Jesus, may I surrender my will before You this morning. Thank You for changing my reason and purpose for living. – At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Philippians 2:10–11
