Discipleship Living

It is Time to Praise the Lord

Discipleship Living: Psalms

Psalm 146:1–2: Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

After the initial Praise the Lord (halelû-yāh), which begins and ends each of Psalms 146–150, the psalmist vowed to praise the Lord all his life. 1

Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Psalm 103:1

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for making a plan for me to be with You from all eternity. Dear Jesus, make me one who praises You in the sunshine, and in the storms.

To my DiscipleshipLiving Friends: Thank-you for sharing the last 290 days with me as we sought the heart of God through Psalms. On this coming Sunday, we will begin a new series called Jesus and His Church from Revelation 2 and 3. I look forward to continuing our Discipleship journey together. Thankful for your prayers, Pastor Tom.
