The virtuous woman is a dependable woman; one who can be counted on in every emergency. Capable and energetic, with a high sense of the dignity and importance of administering the affairs of the home, her worth is not to be compared with that of jewels, however valuable. 1
Application
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her. Ephesians 5:25
A virtuous wife will flourish if she is married to a virtuous husband. A man who is dependable. A man who knows about the love of God. A man who has experienced the love of God. A man who has seen the love of God transform common sinners into the Body of Christ. A man who understands his calling from God. A man who commits his life to loving His wife, not based upon her worthiness or performance, but rather based upon obedience to the Word of God. Are you becoming such a husband? Are you becoming such a wife? Are your attitudes and actions pleasing in the sight of the Lord? Pray for His help to become more loving and understanding towards one another.
