Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms
Israel still has not turned to God. There is not much difference between the Israel side and the Arab side as far as their relationship to God goes, and there is not much difference between that land and the United States. In fact, I think the United States is in the worst spiritual condition, yet we are telling the world how things ought to be done. Because of our own failure I believe our nation should be in sackcloth and ashes. As a people, as individuals, we need to turn to God. 1

But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.’ Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but followed the counsels and the dictates of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward. Jeremiah 7:23–24
- Will you take heed to His voice regarding how you give your time to faithfully serve Him and His people, and to bring His gospel to the world?
- Will you take heed to His voice regarding how you use the talent He has given you to consistently build up the Body of Christ?
- Will you take heed to His voice regarding the generous stewardship of your treasures towards your fellowship that loves you, feeds you, and serves you?
If you want to turn towards Him, you will have to turn away from them.
Praise and Prayer
Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and Your long suffering towards me. Dear Jesus, teach me how to surrender all my time, talent, and treasure for Your glory.
