Discipleship Living

Praise and Thanksgiving

Discipleship Living: Psalms

Psalm 100:4–5: Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

I don’t know who you are, or why you are, or where you are, but I do know that God is good to you, and He is good to me. Oh, how good He is! “His mercy is everlasting.” He hasn’t run out of it. Perhaps since He extended so much mercy to me, you thought He had exhausted His supply. He hasn’t. He has a lot left for you. His mercy is everlasting. Like the flour in the barrel belonging to the widow that Elijah helped—it never runs out. “His truth endures to all generations.” My, what a great psalm of praise this is! 1

Living the Transformed Life

Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Psalm 106:1

A thankful person is a person who acknowledges the blessings of the Lord.

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for all the ways that You bless my life. Dear Jesus, forgive me for failing to give You praise and thanksgiving all the time.
