Psalm 19:12–14: Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults. Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms
This is a verse that you hear many times in a believer’s prayer. “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.” Who was David’s strength? Christ! Who was his redeemer? Christ. He is also my strength and my redeemer. He becomes that through the grace of God. What a wonderful psalm this is! 1
Living the Transformed Life
Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me. Psalm 119:133
- It is a sin to think that your sin is hidden from God.
- It is a sin to think that your sin is a personal matter that affects no one else.
- It is a sin to think that your sin is something that you can manage and control.
There are no secret sins in the presence of the ever-present God.

Thank You, Father, for Your forgiveness, at any hour of any day. Dear Jesus, please help me to run towards You for help, and not away from You in fear.
