Discipleship Living

He Rewards the Upright

Discipleship Living: Psalms

Psalm 37:37–38: Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off.

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

The “perfect man” is one who is perfect toward God in that he trusts God and rests upon his salvation. The end of the upright man is peace. God will see to that. “The end of the wicked shall be cut off.” The transgressors will be destroyed and the wicked shall be cut off. Mark that down. It is as sure as the law of gravitation. 1

Living the Transformed Life

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God and shunned evil. Job 1:1

To live for Him is to forsake all those things opposed to Him.

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for making it possible to live an upright life. Dear Jesus, please make worldliness an undesirable pursuit for me.
