Behold Your Future Place of Worship

Discipleship Living: Psalms

Psalm 122:1–2: I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the Lord.” Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem!

Experiencing Jesus in the Psalms

The weary pilgrims after their long journey stand at last in the gates of their beloved Jerusalem. They lift their eyes to the temple—there it stands with its shining gold glittering in the bright sunlight. A glad cry passes from lip too lip, “Let us go into the house of the Lord!” This beautiful psalm is also a prophecy. It is a millennial psalm looking forward to the time when all the tribes will go up to Jerusalem and assemble themselves for worship. 1

Living the Transformed Life

Many nations shall come and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths.” For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Micah 4:2

Worship is what we do continuously in the abiding presence of Jesus Christ.

Praise and Prayer

Thank You, Father, for preparing a future home filled with worship and glory. Dear Jesus, please teach me to worship You in Spirit and in truth.
