John 17:13: But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.

The words of comfort spoken by Jesus to His disciples were of great benefit to them. Following His Passion, they would recall His words and experience the full measure of His joy. Joy came to them because they knew from His words that He had conquered the evil one and brought eternal life to them. 1

Your Word is Truth

Have you discovered the difference between joy and happiness? Happiness is dependent upon your circumstances. It can change very quickly based on something good or something bad that happened very unexpectedly. The Joy of the Lord however is based upon His unchanging truth. When you are facing hard times, the Lord wants His Joy to become your strength? Please read Psalm 18:1-3, then pray and ask God to be your strength today. He wants you to experience His joy right now.

Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. –Psalm 126:5

You Alone are God

Strength is measured by faith in Him, and not by faith in yourself. – TWEET IT

Your Will be Done

Lord, in my weakness, please make me strong and joyful.
