Proverbs 31:10: Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies.
Insight
We now come to the principal part of the chapter. The wise mother of Lemuel had warned her royal son against the seduction of evil women and accompanying temptations and had given him wholesome rules by which to govern. She now sets before him the full-length portrait of a wife of noble character. This choicest gift is emphatically said to be from the Lord. 1
Application
And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you request, for all the people of my town know that you are a virtuous woman. Ruth 3:11
The word prudent or noble can be translated as “of very capable character.” How is God making you into a “capable woman?” What is He teaching you about trusting Him? Why do you worry so much? Why do you get so fearful and frustrated about the future? God is capable. Perhaps God wants you to trust His capability. You will become a virtuous and capable wife when your trust Him and His ability to make you able for every task. Experience a new joy of letting go and trusting Him.

Father, transform us into Your image, so that we can become the husbands and wives that bring you greater glory.
