1 John 5:15: And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

It is wonderful to know that you and I have a heavenly Father. If we are in fellowship with Him, if we are not regarding sin in our lives, and if there are no other hindrances to prayer in our lives, we are not going to pray selfishly. When we are walking in fellowship with Him, when we are following Him, we can have the confidence that He will hear what we ask and answer our prayer. We are not to come to Him with mistrust or in a begging attitude, but we are to come with boldness to ask that God’s will be done. 1

Loving Him

God knows everything. He knows what is bothering you. He knows all about your hurt and pain and heartache. He knows what is holding you back from His best for you. He loves you and wants to help you. But you must talk to Him. Although He knows your heart, His healing comes when you share your heart openly and honestly with Him. That is just God’s way of setting you free. You must humbly come to Him in prayer, and ask, seek, and knock. Why not take the first step right now into a new adventure of complete dependency upon Him? Dear Lord, please forgive me for failing to come to you sooner. I need you so much. I want to share everything with You now….

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Luke 11:9–10

Loving Others

Prayer is the invitation from God to enter into fellowship with Him, in order to talk about all your cares, hopes, and dreams. – TWEET IT

Make Me Like You

Lord, thank You for listening to me, now please open my heart to hear from You.
